Individual Therapy

Hello, there. We've been there, too.
We know what it's like to wonder whether you should start therapy for the first time — or give it another try. Whether you're taking that step for the first time or the hundredth, choosing to seek support takes vulnerability and courage.

At our practice, we don't believe therapists belong on a pedestal pretending to have all the answers. We know what it's like to be the one searching for help, wondering where to begin, and asking questions like: What's the difference between an LMFT, LCSW, and LCPC? Which therapist is right for me? What if therapy doesn't help? The process can feel overwhelming when all you really want is someone who will listen with empathy and help you find your way forward.
Both our therapists have experienced therapy from the client's chair. Those experiences shaped not only who we are as people, but also the therapists we've become.
We know how vulnerable it feels to ask for help. We know what it's like to sit in the waiting room, wonder if you're making the right decision, and hope that the person across from you truly understands. That's why we strive to create a space where you feel safe and genuinely seen from the very first conversation.

Areas We Commonly Support

Whether you're navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship challenges, grief, stress, burnout, or a major life transition— or you're simply hoping to better understand yourself — individual therapy offers a supportive space to gain insight, build practical coping skills, and create meaningful, lasting change.

If you've found yourself asking questions such as...

-
Why do I feel stuck?
-
How do I manage stress or feeling overwhelmed?
-
How can I feel more confident and at peace?
-
How do I navigate challenges at work, school, or in my relationships?
-
Why do I keep repeating the same patterns?
-
How can I better understand myself and what I need?
-
How can I set healthier boundaries and communicate more effectively?
-
How can I build coping skills that actually work for my diagnosis (such as ADHD, anxiety, or depression)?

...you're in the right place.

Nothing has to be “really wrong” for you to begin individual therapy. Sometimes you just want things to feel a little more right.

Taking the first step toward therapy is an act of self-compassion. We're honored you're here.
